Arise Storywork Coaching

Jesus said that he came to comfort the brokenhearted and to set prisoners free.

What story of heartache could you tell from your childhood?

Where do you currently find yourself stuck and longing for freedom?

These two questions are often related.

Storywork is a sacred space where we engage the stories of heartache with empathy, care, and curiosity bringing new levels of understanding, healing, and freedom in life – where we arise.

Storywork Options

Storywork Groups

Being known and loved by others is the key to healing and becoming who you were meant to be. Storywork Groups consist of 6 other people who are each sharing their stories with one another. Through the engagement of a group, you will be offered care and encouragement and realize that you are not alone. The love and insight offered by others is life changing! Groups meet weekly for 10 weeks.

One-on-One Coaching

In one-on-one coaching, you will learn to write down your particular stories of heartache or harm. Together we will walk through these stories, processing the emotion and discovering what core beliefs and narratives were created that may need to be replaced with truth. Interwoven in heartache, you will also discover strength and beauty that is present in your stories and how God may want to redeem your heartache for the benefit of others.

Storywork Retreats

Storywork Retreats offer an undistracted time of connecting with God, others, and yourself. Through teaching, storywork groups and times of rest, you will come away with new levels of healing and understanding, helping you to arise and become all God wants you to be.

In the midst of such sacred beauty, my story also had chapters of heartache, loss, and death.

Through training at The Allender Center in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, I have personally experienced new levels of healing and freedom and have been equipped to guide others into their stories.

I have a Master’s Degree in the New Testament from Talbot School of Theology and few things give me as much joy as watching God “heal the brokenhearted and set prisoners free” through the process of story engagement.

I’ve been married 34 years, am the mom of two adult sons (and one daughter-in-law), and make my home in the beautiful mountains of Utah!
